Job Description

Job Title: Paralegal in House Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Must have: Previous Paralegal experience in Real Estate. (Candidates without this experience will not be considered.)

Location: Arlington, VA

Position Overview: My client is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal with solid experience in real estate law to support the legal team in managing real estate transactions, particularly regarding data centers and large-scale commercial properties. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your experience in a fast-paced, technology-focused business environment with an awesome manager to report to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Real Estate Transactions: Assist with reviewing lease agreements, purchase agreements, and other real estate contracts related to real estate and data center sites.
  • Lease Management: Support the team in reviewing, revising for new leases, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Acquisitions and Sales: Assist in providing legal support for property acquisitions, dispositions, and project financings, including conducting due diligence and preparing purchase agreements.
  • Data Center Transactions: Aid in providing legal support for the acquisition, sale, leasing, and development of data centers, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Help the internal teams on local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations, including zoning, environmental regulations, and building codes.
  • Document Management: Ensure proper organization, filing, and maintenance of real estate agreements, correspondence, and other related documents.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in commercial real estate law, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Several years of commercial real estate, leases, acquisitions, or similar work through previous internships, externships, or work experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and learn from senior attorneys while taking on independent tasks.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Must be interested in working in-office in Arlington, VA.
