Job Description

About the Role:

The company is actively seeking a highly motivated Project Scheduler to work on a major airport construction project in New York City. This project is a large-scale infrastructure development focused on modernizing airport facilities, improving passenger experience, and enhancing operational efficiency.

As a Project Scheduler, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing scheduling for two (2) facility projects within the airport development. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction scheduling, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the scheduling of two major airport facility projects.
  • Perform schedule reviews and prepare bi-weekly and monthly schedule update analysis reports.
  • Conduct progress reviews, including:
  • Schedule Logic & Sequencing
  • Float Analysis & Constraints Review
  • Cost, Resources, and Earned Value Assessment
  • Critical & Near-Critical Path Evaluation
  • Analyze schedule impacts and recommend corrective action plans to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
  • Develop, update, and maintain cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Monitor and report schedule status to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Present project updates in meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Develop “What-If” scenarios, mitigation schedules, look-ahead schedules, and time impact analysis.
  • Conduct delay analysis and evaluate claims related to project schedule impacts.
  • Identify scheduling risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong Time Impact Analysis (TIA) expertise.
  • Experience in institutional and large-scale infrastructure construction, preferably in airport or transportation facility projects.
  • Deep understanding of vertical construction processes, methods, and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct regular on-site walkthroughs and communicate project details effectively.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Extensive experience in CPM scheduling, resource loading, and earned value analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project schedules and provide strategic oversight.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in planning, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Prior experience working with owners, contractors, and consultants on large-scale construction projects.
  • Field experience is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000 - $166,400 per year
