Now Hiring: Preschool Director at Vidyarambh

Location: SANTA CLARA, CA 95051

Full-Time Position

Vidyarambh Preschool, a culturally rooted and nurturing early childhood center ( is seeking a passionate, experienced, and visionary Preschool Director to lead our dedicated team at the Santa Clara location.

About Us:

Vidyarambh is an Indian Cultural Immersion Preschool and Childcare center. At Vidyarambh, we blend developmentally appropriate early education practices with the richness of Indian culture and values. Our programs are designed to foster confident, compassionate, and culturally grounded children.

Some of the key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day preschool operations ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
• Guide and mentor teachers, ensuring high-quality curriculum delivery and classroom management
• Build strong relationships with families, maintaining open and professional communication
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and Vidyarambh standards
• Support event planning for cultural celebrations, festivals, and parent engagement programs
• Collaborate with leadership on enrollment, staffing, and growth strategy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a preschool or childcare setting
• Strong knowledge of child development, curriculum planning, and licensing regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• A deep appreciation for and familiarity with  Indian culture, festivals, values, and traditions
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and foster a positive school culture

Preferred:

• Experience directing programs with infants, toddlers and preschoolers
• Appreciation of Indian Culture
