We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Healthcare Project Manager to lead a high-impact, cross-functional initiative in a regulated healthcare environment. This role will focus on aligning stakeholders and driving a key project forward, working across multiple departments. The ideal candidate excels at influencing without direct authority, thrives in fast-paced settings, and communicates effectively with diverse teams and leadership. This is a hybrid role based in Portland, OR!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead full-cycle project management for a strategic physician residency education initiative
  • Drive alignment and accountability across departments such as ACGME, GME, operations, marketing, and recruitment
  • Manage timelines, risks, and deliverables using modern project management tools
  • Prepare and present clear progress reports to leadership, including risk assessments and recommendations
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project communications and stakeholder engagement
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure operational feasibility and success

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in healthcare or similarly regulated fields
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Skilled in project planning and execution, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Asana, MS Project, Smartsheets, or similar
  • Experience in environments related to medical education or regulated programs is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a contract role offering a highly competitive hourly rate of $50-60/hour, reflective of experience and expertise. After 30 days as a temporary employee through Scion Staffing, you will be eligible for medical, vision, and dental benefits. The initial full-time workload may reduce over time as project phases evolve, offering flexibility and potential for extension based on project needs.
